A weekend trip to Atlanta, Georgia for a Saturday airshow at DeKalb-Peachtree Airport (PDK) meant I had time on Sunday to visit Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) for a short time to do some spotting before returning home. I found myself on top of the South Parking Garage with great views of landing and departing aircraft on runways 9L-27R and 9R-27L. Even for a mid-May afternoon in Atlanta, it was blazing hot on top of the parking garage. After an hour-and-a-half of spotting, I was out of spotting time for the day.
