DeKalb-Peachtree Airport - Good Neighbor Day Air Show 2022
After a 5-year hiatus due to airport construction and Covid restrictions, DeKalb-Peachtree Airport hosts its Good Neighbor Day Air Show and Open House celebrating the the 80th Anniversary +1 of Naval Air Station (NAS) Atlanta. A great lineup of vintage naval aircraft attended the event including a F6F-5 Hellcat, FM-2 Wildcat, AD Skyraider, SBD-5 Dauntless, SB2C-5 Helldiver, and TBM-3 Avenger. Other attending aircraft included multiple AT-6 Texan/Harvard/SNJ, T-34 Mentors, JRB-6 Expeditor, TP-40N Warhawk, P-51D Mustang, Douglas Dakota C-47 Mk. III KG395, Nakajima B5N (Replica) and B-25J Mitchell. Current US Navy aircraft including F/A-18E Super Hornets, T-45 Goshawks, T-6 Texan II’s, MH-60 Seahawks populated the static ramp.
