2020 Wings Over North Georgia Drive-in Airshow
The 2020 edition of Wings Over North Georgia Airshow was a drive-in event due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Weather also played a factor with overcast conditions barely above the minimums required to fly the entire day. The headlining performers were the USAF Thunderbirds who started the show with only five aircraft (one pilot at home with newborn child) and due to mechanical issues, a second Thunderbird was unable to complete the entire performance. Other performers included the A-10 Demo Team, F-16 Viper Demo Team, West Coast C-17 Demo Team, USAF Heritage Flight, B-25 Mitchell “Panchito”, Micheal Goulian, Matt Younkin, Tiger Flight, Dobbins ARB C-130 Hercules, Buck Roetman, Mike Wiskus, Jerry “Jive” Kirby T-28 Trojan, Scott Farnsworth L-39.
