1996 Chattanooga Air Show
Photos from my visit to the bi-annual T.C. Thompson Children's Hospital Airshow '96, June 1-2 at Lovell Field, Chattanooga, Tennessee. As you can see from the photos, It was a rainy and overcast day. There was no jet team at this show (apparently due to a team flight stand down caused by a wing touch during the previous weeks performance). But there were several great aircraft in attendance including a replica Gee Bee Super Sportster R-2 that was built and flown by Delmar Benjamin, the F-14 Demo team, a variety of warbirds, A-10 Warthog, F-18 Hornets, T-38 Trainers, Shockwave Jet Truck, and several civilian vintage aircraft. Photos were shot on film with a basic 35mm camera without a zoom lens. Images are presented at the quality they were shot. Some images were cut off, out of focus, or shot too far away from the subject. I present them here as they were shot as a record of the event.
