The 2022 Wings & Wheels on the Greene Fly-In & Cruise-In

The Greeneville Municipal Airport (GCY) hosted their 2022 Wings & Wheels on the Greene Fly-In & Cruise-In with a good turnout of general aviation aircraft. The event started with a parachute drop followed by numerous aircraft taking to the skies. A 1927 WACO Model 10 biplane from Sky High Air Tours in Sevierville, TN was on site selling rides and was continually in the air with people enjoying open cockpit flights. The afternoon highlight was the arrival of a 1944 Republic P-47D Thunderbolt “Hun Hunter XVI” from the Tennessee Museum of Aviation in Sevierville, TN.
