Sullenberger Aviation Museum

The newly opened Sullenberger Aviation Museum (formerly the Carolinas Aviation Museum) is located in the corner of the Charlotte-Douglas International Airport in Charlotte, NC. The museum has a 35,000 square foot main gallery that includes more than 25 iconic aircraft to see. The museum's centerpiece is US Airways Airbus A320 (N106US), the famous “Miracle On The Hudson” jet. The museum is named in honor of former U.S. Airways airline pilot Capt. C.B. “Sully” Sullenberger who safely brought the aircraft in to land in the Hudson River in New York City.
