Korean War Gallery - National Museum of the United States Air Force.
The Korean War is sometimes referred to as “The Forgotten War”. But in aviation history, it is remembered as the first time that air combat became the realm of Jet vs Jet. And while this gallery is not as heavily populated with aircraft as some of the other galleries, it does boast two of the most famous jets in the fight for air supremacy: the North American F-86A Sabre and the Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-15bis. Both aircraft display the beauty and evolving design fashion of this aviation era.
